Kenny Nielsen is a defender from Georgetown University, known for his strong defensive instincts, leadership, and consistency. While at Georgetown he earned Third Team All‑Big East honors in 2021 and 2022, was named First Team All‑Big East in 2023, and was awarded Big East Defensive Player of the Year in 2023.

Kenny’s professional career is on the rise. He was drafted by LAFC in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft, played with LAFC2, and ultimately signed a contract with Los Angeles FC through 2025 (with options beyond) as a defender.
